I did something I never really thought I would do...

I, FOR REAL, completely UNFRIENDED a friend on myspace because of a status message...that referred to Barack as apos;Osamaapos;

I UNfriended her and then turned right around and sent Barackapos;s campaign $25 of my hard-earned dollars.

Now, a few weeks ago, I was sort of appalled that a fellow livejournal friend had been unfriended because of a comment she made on twitter.

Now, i donapos;t twitter and donapos;t really know how twitter works, and I donapos;t even know what she said, but it did make me wonder what exactly she had to say to make a long-time LJ�friend unfriend her...

However, when a friend of mine on livejournal or myspace makes a reference to Barack as Osama, thatapos;s about where I draw the line.� When I see something referenced like that, iapos;m pretty sure that I donapos;t need to see what she has to say and Iapos;m relatively sure she doesnapos;t give a shit about what i have to say.�

My "platform," as the case may be, has been from the get-go...you vote for who you want, and iapos;ll vote who i want...and weapos;ll continue to be friends...

to me, there isnapos;t room for that.�

and folks need to know that if you put shit out there that is inflammatory and slanderish, I am going to turn right back apos;round and send Barack Obama another $25.

And, if youapos;d like to state your claims and views and opinions without calling him apos;Osamaapos; or a maybe apos;terroristapos;� or a apos;muslim,apos; all of which have been proven FALSE, then we can still play nice.�

I have no problem with you liking John and me liking Barack...but what I wonapos;t deal with is smear and fear.� I think we are better than that.�

Just my personal opinion...and if you donapos;t want to read sht like this...as I said in an earlier post...unfriend me...I wonapos;t take it personal.
