Today started out pretty good. Max woke up at 6:30 which is kind of late for him and quite nice for me. I got him a snalc and then I immediately got in the shower. Then I swept the kitchen and downstairs, cleaned and emptied the litter box, and scrubbed the bath tub. I was beginning to get really hungry at that point so I put on some water for tea and then tried to wake up Annika. I eventually got her up and we had a bit of snuggle time. When she was laughing and giggling I sent her to play with Max while I made breakfast. I made the best pancakes ever this morning. They were just perfect. The kids ate breakfast like champs and Max even requested to have eggs too. I LOVE it when they eat what I give them without a fuss. Now I am getting them showered and ready for the day. We have to go to the grocery store and get a few things since we are going to bake some cookies.
On a side note: My Cat has been acting really strange lately. I got home last night and got everyone in bed, myself included, when Belaa starts rubbing herself all over me and DROOLING. Ugh. I had no idea what to do and she was going full retard on me. All of a sudden, I had a moment. EUREKA I thought to myself "sheapos;s off her feed." Then I thought about her food and then... CATNIP I snatched her up and Obi came running behind us. I grabbed the container of catnip and grabbed a pinch. I jamed some in her mouth and she went stock still. I knew the storm was coming though so I took out a cat toy I keep in the cat nip container and as she sprang at me I tossed the toy at her face. She took the bait and was on that thing in a heart beat. Obi Wan joined in and I realized my task was done. I went upstairs and went to bed. I woke up the next morning to find the cats snuggled up with me, just the way it ought to be.
