So I work on The Strand, and as I was leaving today I couldnapos;t help but stop outside the Doctor Who store (ok, officially itapos;s a stamp store) they do a lot of autograph signings and stuff. I ran into Kai Owen there a few weeks back.

SO, to get to the point - thereapos;s a little sign saying Gareth will be there for autographs on Saturday 1 November. (And Tom Baker on the 21st November, if anyone is interested)

I didnapos;t see a time, but Iapos;ll find out tomorrow.

Itapos;s relatively easy to get to - itapos;s 76 The Strand, or something across from Abbey Bank.....in between Charing Cross Station and Waterloo Bridge, normally has a giant Dalek hanging outside of it so you canapos;t miss it

So, the final presidential debate is over. I canapos;t wait till the election is over. I canapos;t wait till the negative ads go away. I canapos;t wait till the negative letters to the editor are no longer being sent to the newspaper. (...iapos;m all for freedom of the press/ freedom of speech...i just find some of the letters upsetting or disturbing...)

This has become more like a sporing event than a presidential campaign. Itapos;s like Yankees vs. Red Sox or Browns vs. Steelers. Not saying that all sport fans are crazy or yell angry things. But, things have gotten ugly. And, I hope they get better before they get worse.

I want everyone to vote whoapos;s eligible. I donapos;t care if they vote for McCain, as long as theyapos;re doing so because they agree w/ him on the issues and not just because they wonapos;t vote for a black man. If thatapos;s someoneapos;s reasoning for voting for McCain, well, then they deserve to have McCain...or better yet, Palin as President.

I have officially moved over to the Bethesda apartment Everything is moved, Iapos;ve turned in my keys, and weapos;ve even made decent progress toward unpacking. So far, I havenapos;t had a lot of trouble adjusting to the new space--no waking up confused, not knowing where I am, or getting up in the middle of the night and wandering into Miya and Elissaapos;s room (where Iapos;ve stayed in the past when I would stay over)--and itapos;s actually taking me a little less time to get to work in the mornings, since I donapos;t have to walk all that way to get to the metro. In any case, move is done, so now I just have to get through finishing out my current job (I leave tomorrow) and getting settled in the new one

I donapos;t think running a marathon in my condition is the best of ideas.... Oh well, I�suppose that I can still try.� I�believe I�got about an hourapos;s extra sleep yesterday during the marathon, so Iapos;m a bit more awake.� Catnaps, however, arenapos;t the best idea if you wish to catch up� properly on sleep.� Tutoring is going slightly better (I�think) ans I�actually took in some of the material instead of forgetting it all.
